What is the minimum age requirement?
The starting age for a player must be 7 years old by the 30th April.
Is proof of age required?
New players will need to provide proof of age (e.g. Extract of Birth, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Welfare Centre Book, Immunisation Certificate) at time of registration payment. (Statutory Declarations will not be accepted as proof of age).
What about girls footy?
Some girls prefer to play Australian Football in single gender environments. However, should your daughter prefer to play in mixed-gender team or competition they are permitted to do so until age 14.
How do I register to play Junior Footy?
Register online via the button on the home page or below this article. If you are having trouble, come down and visit our friendly Committee members at Registration Day and they will help guide you through the process!
How do I transfer from another Club?
Contact our club Registrar to discuss further, and to arrange an online transfer. Then, start training and playing for Rosebud JFC! Transfers open in the month of November & again in February (Subject to League and Club clearances).
What happens if I am finding it hard to pay the fees?
In special circumstances, hardship cases will be considered, provided a request is made in writing and emailed to the club at
